| Gundy Park is a horse and cattle stud. We have 10 competition horses in work at one time, plus 20 other young stock and breeders. We also have 35 head of Black Angus breeders. We are located on 250 hectares, in the upper hunter valley, the 'Horse Capitol of Australia'. There is a shared cottage available, that has 3 rooms, a large lounge/dinning room, large kitchen, and a large bathroom. The cottage is located on the farm, about half a mile from the yard. There is also 3 dogs and 4 cats, all very friendly.... |

WORK FOR FREE ACCOMODATION IN THE BEAUTIFUL HUNTER VALLEY!!
HAVE YOUR SECOND WORKING HOLIDAY VISA EXTENDED WHILST EXPERIENCING THE COUNTRY LIFESTYLE OF AUSTRALIA AND LEARNING NEW SKILLS!
Gundy Park is looking for a responsible and reliable person to work just 3 hrs a day, 6 days a week for free accomodation. Gunsy park is a family owned and run Horse Stud, breeding high level competion horses both both racing and 3 day eventing. We also run a small herd of breeding angus cattle, and croping lucerne hay and oats. We are looking for people to stay for one week min, to helpout with the morning duties. This may includ feeding horses, grooming, muching out boxes, farm work on tractors, mustering cattle, harvesting crops etc... We have a work car to use to and from work, as well as twice a week to drive to scone for grocerie shoping. Scone is located 25km away, but ther is a lovely little town called Gundy, just 4 km away, with a fantastic, historic Pub/ resteraunt and a general store. There is also the option to hire the farm car  $50 a week to use for personal use.
All duties will be to suit the applicants ability, we do not expect anyone to do something they cannt handle!! Training can also be provided to better suit the applicant if they so wish.
PLEASE NOTE: no previous experience is required, but some references- work or character, are requested.
